A Supportive Approach to Therapy

A safe space to feel understood and supported.

Meet Vicki Klein, LCSW-C

Welcome to my practice. I specialize in anxiety disorders with teens and adults. My clients come to me with a variety of fears that can hold them back, both socially and academically. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and integrate a family systems approach to work with parents and help them learn the most appropriate response to their anxious teen.
I also have a special interest in parenting, as parenting any child presents its own unique circumstances. A calmer, more peaceful home is something that many parents struggle to attain, and I can help develop some strategies with you.
Deciding to see a therapist can be a difficult decision, whether it is for yourself, or your teen. In my practice, I use a supportive, non-judgmental, approach. My work is practical and oriented towards the goal of increasing a client’s self-confidence.  I have had great success using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with my clients of all ages struggling with various fears.
My experience in this field is extensive.  After getting my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, I went to pursue my Master of Social Work at the University of Maryland. For over 20 years, I have worked in Maryland as either a private school counselor or a therapist.
